Welcome to Marwen used elements from the previous six Zemeckis films (live action, green screen, VFX, and motion capture) to help tell the story of Mark Hogancamp (Steve Carell), a war veteran who eases his mental trauma by escaping into a fantasy world populated by dolls. We used every trick in the book to edit this film and bring the doll world to life in a unique way, and I was thrilled to receive my first Additional Editor credit.
